Salesforce’s Summer ’26 release ships next month and multi-agent orchestration is the headline. Multiple AI agents, coordinating with each other, running complex end-to-end workflows.
Here’s what that actually requires: someone who understands how to design systems where the failure points aren’t obvious until things break in production.
That’s not a certification. That’s pattern recognition built from years of seeing what happens when integrations go wrong, when data doesn’t match, when a process that looks clean on a whiteboard turns into a support ticket at 2am.
A recent study found 41% of IT leaders say they don’t have the internal expertise to execute on agentic AI. That number tracks with what I’m hearing from hiring managers right now. Every candidate I talk to says they’re studying up on AI and hitting Trailhead hard to get certified on Agentforce. But I’d take an experienced architect with multiple implementation cycles over a fresh cert any day for this kind of deployment.
The talent exists. It’s just not easy to find, and it’s definitely not applying to your open req.
What are you seeing? Is your team ready for this, or are you still figuring out who owns it?
